๐ฌ AI prompt: Learn a new skill with a 30-day practice plan
I want to learn something new, like guitar, spreadsheets, drawing or basic coding, but I never know where to start and I quit after a week. How do I get a plan I'll actually stick to?
Copy this prompt
Make me a 30-day plan to learn a new skill. Skill: [guitar, spreadsheets, drawing, a language, basic coding, etc.]. My goal by day 30: [something I can show or do]. Time I have: [minutes per day, days per week]. What I already know: [nothing, a little, some]. What I have: [tools, apps or gear I own]. Rules: 1) Before planning, ask me up to 3 short questions if anything important is missing, then wait. 2) Give me week 1 in full, one small practice task per day that fits my time, with what 'done' looks like for each day. 3) Show weeks 2-4 as one line each so I can see where it's going. 4) Suggest only free or already-owned resources, and say so if you're not sure a resource still exists. 5) Add one rest day per week and a 5-minute check-in at the end of each week. Then stop and wait for my week 1 check-in; don't write weeks 2-4 in detail until I ask.
